When I was a Private School Headteacher, I used to think that preparing for the 11-plus was just about drilling questions and memorising answers. But one day, I worked with a student who was bright yet still struggling with their confidence. It made me realise that success isn’t just simply knowledge—it’s more about mindset, so I set out to change the way I teach.
